Choosing Courses

I have no audio or music background; can I still take your program?

Yes. Our program is designed for all levels, from basic essentials to proper techniques so you can master all your sound productions.

How much prior experience do I need to take your courses?

None. However, some of our advanced courses require pre-requisites. For more info, please check the desired course’s page.

I have experience. Do I need to start from the beginning of the program?

It depends on your experience; yet we strongly recommend that you start from the beginning of the program to build a solid foundation.
If you have any questions about this, do not hesitate to contact us and one of our advisors will help you make the right decision.

How do I know if I need to take individual courses, bundles, or the full program?

Our advisors are available to guide you depending on your interest and schedule. Do not hesitate to contact us and request a meeting for a better orientation.

Will I become Avid certified once I complete one of the Pro Tools courses?

Yes. After completion of each Pro Tools course, you will need to pass its online exam to get a recognized certification straight from Avid.

Do I earn a certificate after I complete the full program?

Yes. After completing the full program, including all the exams and projects, you will be granted a certificate from Audio Suite.

Can I start working after I complete the full program?

Yes. After completing the full program, you will have acquired all the knowledge and practice you need to start working in any related audio/music production job.

What genres of music do you teach in your music production courses?

The techniques we teach apply to all styles of music, which will expand your musical horizons, but the instructor can focus on the music style you’re interested in learning.

Do I need to bring my own equipment or purchase any to be able to take your courses?

No. We, at Audio Suite, provide everything you need to take our courses.

What equipment do you use?

Our classes are equipped with the latest software and hardware, from Pro Tools 12 to the best midi controllers.

Do you sell audio and music equipment?

Since Audio Suite is partnered with Instruments Garage, our enrolled students can benefit from a very special discount on any item they purchase.

Scheduling

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes, upon request.

Do you offer intensive sessions?

Yes, upon request.

How many students fit in the class?

From 3 to 7 students.

Are there any afternoon or night shift classes?

Yes. Our classes schedule is based upon our students’ preferences.

Do you offer students additional time in your facilities to practice more what they have learnt in class?

Our facilities are always open during weekdays for you to come and practice what you have learnt in class. Just tell us you’re coming in advance so that we reserve a spot for you!

What happens if I miss a class?

The course’s schedule is based upon your availability so you won’t have to miss a class. However, in case of emergency, a short briefing will be given to you during the next session.

What do I need to bring to class?

Yourself! (and a notebook if you like to take notes)

Enrollment & Payment

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Our payment plans are designed to make registration more affordable to you. Please check the payment plan in the Prices category of each course, bundle, or program; or contact us for more details.

Do I get a refund if I cancel a course?

No, but you can take it again at any other time.

Can I transfer to a different course?

No. After registration, transferring to a different course is not possible.

Can I come visit your premises before enrolling?

Of course! We are open on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Please inform us before coming so that you get to meet one of our advisors.
